Star is not a suburb yet. The plumbing already knows that.
Star sits between Eagle and Middleton on Highway 44, and it still has acreage next to brand-new subdivisions. Some houses are on city water. Plenty are on wells. That mix is the whole job here — pressure tanks on one street, a builder rough-in on the next.

Wells and city water on the same road
Star grew out from a small town into a boom. You can have a municipal meter on one lot and a well with a pressure tank on the next. We diagnose pressure problems against whichever system you actually have, instead of assuming every house works like a Boise subdivision.
New construction at a hard pace
A lot of Star is still framing. We rough homes in, set water heaters, and come back for the first service calls when the original tank or PRV gives up. If you are building, call us before the sheetrock — fixture layout is cheaper to get right then.
Hard water and agricultural runoff nearby
Treatment is not optional for a lot of Star wells, and city water here is still hard. Softeners, carbon, and RO are regular installs. We test first and size the system to the house, not to the biggest unit we can sell.

Star questions we get asked a lot.
- Do you charge extra to come out to Star?
- No. Star is core service area and priced with the rest of the valley.
- Do you work on well systems in Star?
- Yes — pressure tanks, treatment, and the plumbing side of the system. If the pump down in the casing is the failure, we will say so and will not guess our way through a well-driller's job.
- Can you coordinate with my Star builder?
- That is a large share of the work out here. We time rough-in to framing and inspections so you are not holding the job up, and we flag layout problems before the tile goes in.
- My pressure is fine some days and weak on others. Why?
- On a well, that is often a waterlogged pressure tank or a pump that is short-cycling. On city water, it is usually a failing PRV or scale in an older line. Those are different repairs. We find out which before we quote.
