Lance started Ritchie Plumbing in 1988 with a truck, a license, and a rule the company still keeps: explain the work, do it right, and treat the house like somebody lives there.

Thirty-five years later that standard has not changed. What has changed is the size of the crew. We are not a franchise, we do not work off commission scripts, and we do not sell you a system you do not need. The plumber at your door works for Ritchie Plumbing — hired here, trained here — not a sub from a lead mill, and not a promise that Lance or Chad will be the ones holding the wrench.

From water heaters and whole-home softeners to full repipes, the work is thorough because the name on the invoice is still ours. Repeat customers keep the number because the standard held, not because they booked a particular last name.
